Meet Katie
Now a freelance writer, I've worked at newspapers and magazines throughout my career, primarily covering small businesses and profiling business leaders.
I was editor in chief of a local business magazine when the ownership group, faced with financial trouble, had to shutter many of its assets — the magazine included. I pivoted to working with small businesses in a different capacity, by joining a small marketing firm.
Now, I enjoy the flexibility of writing for various publications as well as helping companies tell their stories effectively through marketing and media relations.
